Ula was born and raised in Poland. Her passion for food started at a young age as she helped her mother cook for their large family. Ula moved to the US in 2004 and graduated with honors from L’Academie de Cuisine in 2009. Her externship and continued work was at Volt in Frederick, MD where she focused on seasonal entreés showcasing classic flavor combinations prepared with fresh, local ingredients. In 2013 Ula started working at L’Academie de Cuisine as a teaching assistant for their professional evening culinary program until 2017 while she helped open TopGolf Gaithersburg as the Event and Executive Sous Chef. Ula started her personal chef journey soon after and has enjoyed cooking nourishing food for private families, and her own 2 kids, ever since.
