Kerrie’s culinary journey began in the warmth of her family kitchen, where, at the age of eight, she discovered her love for cooking. Born in New York and raised in sunny South Florida, Kerrie’s palate is a delightful fusion of traditions. She effortlessly blends the hearty, classic dishes of her family with the vibrant flavors of Caribbean and Cuban cuisine that have captured her heart. She finds her culinary muse in the iconic Ina Garten, whose modern takes on comfort food have inspired Kerrie to transcend traditional boundaries and craft dishes that are both novel and nostalgically delicious.

With a strong commitment to sustainability and environmental justice, Kerrie holds BA degrees in International Relations and Environmental Studies from American University.
