Chef Amberly is a classically trained chef and lifelong culinary enthusiast whose passion for cooking began in childhood when she opted for cooking shows over cartoons. That early curiosity led to a professional career that included staging at fine dining restaurants throughout the D.C. area.
She trained at L’Academie de Cuisine graduating with distinction in 2016. She studied under the acclaimed Chef Gerard Pangaud, a 2-star Michelin chef, and later refined her pastry and baking skills under Chef Gustavo Escalante of Spago.
Although she began her career in restaurant prep and as a Kosher pastry chef, she realized that her calm, creative approach to cooking was better suited to intimate, personalized environments where she found the freedom to cook with heart—focusing on fresh, thoughtful meals tailored to each client’s unique needs.
When not in the kitchen, Chef Amberly is out with her husband and three kids hunting down the best tacos, strolling farmers markets, or geeking out over local honey. She’s a proud member of the Maryland and Montgomery County Beekeepers Associations and loves to find ways to incorporate honey into food! It’s nature’s magic, and one of her favorite ingredients to cook with!
