Amberly

Personal Chef

Chef Amberly is a classically french-trained chef with a lifelong passion for cooking and baking. She trained at L’Academie de Cuisine, studying under Chef Gerard Pangaud, a two-Michelin-star chef, and later refined her pastry and baking skills under Chef Gustavo Escalante of Spago.

Amberly began her career in restaurant prep and as a kosher pastry chef, but found her strengths in private kitchens, creating thoughtful, personalized meals. She enjoys preparing traditional and healthier versions of global comfort foods, emphasizing seasonal ingredients and tailoring dishes to dietary needs and allergy restrictions.

Outside the kitchen, Amberly spends time with her husband and three children, exploring farmers markets and hunting for the best tacos.

You have guests coming for dinner, what are you making?

Wok-Seared Shrimp Fried Rice with Seasonal Vegetables, Chicken Egg Rolls with Sweet Chili sauce and an Asian Crunch Salad with Ginger-Sesame Dressing.

What’s your favorite ingredient to cook with?

Fresh seasonal veggies and herbs. I also love garlic and dill.

What’s your favorite season to cook in and what dish are you making?

Fall and Winter – Indian Curry(Chana Masala, Butter Chicken,Beef Curry) Soups, comfort food.
