After years as a defense contractor, Chef Colin Penn decided to pursue his passion for cooking as a career. A graduate of L’Academie de Cuisine, Colin began his culinary career in the kitchen at Washington’s legendary 1789 Restaurant. From there, he went on to work at various fine dining and casual restaurants as well as in the kitchen at Susan Gage Caterers. He was the founding chef of Schmaltz Brothers, Gage’s much-lauded Kosher concept. Colin’s clients appreciate his quiet confidence and delicate attention to detail in the creation of their weekly meals and for their special occasions.
